I am not really able to concentrate in studies these few days. Took a half day at college today. No project is getting done either. Lets see what tomorrow holds.

Had rose day today in college today but did not stick around for
festivities. Varun bought a new phone, a nokia 5220 xpressmusic. A
very nice phone.

We have ECAD2 test today and I am already late. Its 10:10 and I am
still in the station waiting for the train. All the good seats (last
seats) will probably be gone.

STUDYyyyyyyy!

We have finally submitted our first project!! Actually we were probably the first or the second group to submit. Sumit did quite a good job with the project. Now to get started on the second project. Oh ... and tomorrow theres an ECAD test in the very first lecture itself. Have to go early to college tomorrow it seems .... not really my style ....

More Workshop

Today we are going to submit our first workshop project. Its a simple
light sesitive buzzer which we have built using an LDR. The project
report is being compiled by Sumit, my group member. Hope that it is
upto the mark.

For the next project I am making a pressure alarm. When someone steps
on the pressure switch, the alarm will start blowing and will continue
to blow untill someone presses the "reset" switch.

one down, 2 to go

Hurray !! We completed our first electronics project. It was a rather simple alarm. It did not take more than 2 hrs to complete the whole thing. What we had used was a LDR and 2 transistors - BEL188 and BC548 . Whenever LDR was cutoff from light, the speaker gave sound. It was pretty cool and worked quite well too. I still hope that I am able to come up with a level 3 project soon. 

FRUSTRATED

     Did not have a good start to the week. ECAD tests were cancelled and that too the only time I actually came prepared! Also Sumit forgot to bring the components again! I am definetely gonna call him in the morning to remind him to bring them tomorrow. We do have to submit our first project thursday afterall!

Nooooooooooooooooo !!!!

Today had maths class which got over at 6.00pm. After that, I had two patties, the Indian Ones and went to buy soldering-iron. Ended up spending 150bucks for it but I suppose it was worth it. Just hoping that I will be able to complete the project in the next 2 to 3 days without any hitch.

Also have to study for my BEC ( Basic Electronic Circuits) test which will be tomorrow. Don't wanna fail!! We also have a Digital Designing test day after tomorrow(tuesday). 

Teachers have no mercy ........

TRADITIONAL DAY

Had traditional day today in college. We were supposed to come wearing traditional dresses, especially dresses that are common in our own native places. I went to college in my regular jeans and Tshirt coz I had a little inkling that most of my friends would end up in jeans and T's. But I also carried my Kurta planning to club it with my jeans if I had to. It unfolded in exactly that way with only a few students coming in traditional clothes. The attendance was too low and me and my friends just hung around in the canteen killing time before I decide to come home. 

Have class in the evening for digital designing. Will need someones help to reach the class because this will be my first time in this class.

Also bought a PCB board and a couple of IC holders for my electronics project. 

CARPENTERING CAPERS

Had a wooden cabinet made for myself. Nothing fancy... mind you. Just
something that will hold my clothes and other miscellaneous stuff that
my mom throws fits when she sees them lying around.
Also converted the store room into a rudimentary library.
Consequently, the store room is actually a bathroom that we had no use
of.

HOLI !

Had a rather sober "Holi" yesterday. Holi is the festival of colors
which is probably the 2nd most popular festival after Diwali in India.
Look it up in the internet.
Its the day that u can dunk anyone on the street in colored water.
Water balloons are very common. Getting wasted while you are at it, is
not out of the question.

first day

Went to college after my return from USA. Feeling really apprehensive. Took almost a month long holiday for my trip to the US which was completely worth it. Can't wait to go back. Donno when thats gonna happen.  

COLLEGE STARTS AGAIN!!

   College has started with only 10 days vacation. Managed to attend only one day in college.
